Once you arrive at Delhi Airport, our representative will be waiting to greet you warmly and help you with your luggage. You’ll be taken to your hotel in a private car. The rest of the day is free to relax after your flight. If you’re not too tired, you can walk around near the hotel to get your first look at the city. Have dinner at the hotel or nearby, and get a good night’s sleep before the tour begins.
After breakfast at the hotel, your driver and guide will take you to see the main sights of Delhi. You’ll start with Old Delhi visiting the Red Fort (from outside), Jama Masjid (India’s biggest mosque), and then enjoy a fun rickshaw ride through the busy lanes of Chandni Chowk market. You’ll stop to try local snacks or sweets if you like. Later, visit Raj Ghat (where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated), and then move on to New Delhi to see India Gate, Parliament House (from outside), and the President’s House. In the afternoon, you’ll visit Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, both UNESCO sites. Return to the hotel in the evening and rest.
Have breakfast, check out, and start your journey to Agra by car. The drive takes around 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic. On arrival in Agra, check into your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Take your time to walk around and enjoy this white marble wonder. After that, visit Agra Fort, where the Mughal emperors once lived you’ll see beautiful rooms and large courtyards. In the evening, enjoy shopping in local markets or relax at your hotel.
After an early breakfast, check out and begin your drive to Jaipur. On the way, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, an old Mughal city full of history and red sandstone buildings. Continue driving and take another break at Abhaneri, where you’ll visit Chand Baori, a 1,200-year-old stepwell that is truly amazing to see. After the visit, continue your journey and arrive in Jaipur by evening. Check into your hotel and relax after the long journey.
After breakfast, start your Jaipur tour with a visit to Amber Fort, located on a hill just outside the city. You can ride an elephant or take a jeep to reach the top. Inside the fort, admire the Mirror Palace and other beautifully decorated rooms. Next, visit the City Palace, which still has royal family members living in part of it. Then go to Jantar Mantar, an old astronomical observatory with huge instruments used to study stars and time. On the way, stop for photos at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), which has hundreds of small windows. In the evening, explore Jaipur’s colorful markets known for jewellery, textiles, and crafts.
Today, you’ll travel to Amritsar, a city in Punjab known for its spiritual importance. Depending on what’s available, you’ll either take a direct flight or board a train from Jaipur (or Delhi). Once you reach Amritsar, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, visit the Golden Temple, the most sacred place for Sikhs. It looks beautiful at night with all the lights, and you can also witness the peaceful night ceremony when the holy book is carried to its resting place.
Today after breakfast, visit Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial built to remember the tragic event of 1919. Walk through the peaceful garden and learn about its history. Later, in the afternoon, drive to the Wagah Border, close to Pakistan, where you can watch the Beating Retreat Ceremony a military show full of energy, cheering, and patriotism. Return to the city, enjoy some local Punjabi food for dinner, and rest at your hotel.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and travel back to Delhi either by train or flight. When you arrive in Delhi, we will pick you up and drop you at your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax, do some shopping, or enjoy a nice dinner. This is your second chance to explore Delhi if you missed anything earlier.
On your last day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast. If time allows, you can visit nearby markets or enjoy a short visit to any monument or museum you may have missed.
